TERMS & CONDITIONS / CONTRACT

This is a mutual agreement negotiated between your psychologist and the client prior to the commencement of our 50 minute sessions. It articulates the responsibilities of your psychologist and client in the context of the therapeutic relationship they are going to undertake together.
£100 per session Initial session
£400 payable as a block of 4 sessions if you decide to proceed with your therapy plan after your initial assessment. This payment amount is due
72 working hours prior to your therapy intervention.
After session 4, you will have the option to pay per session at a fee of £100 or proceed with another 4 session block of £400, depending how many estimated sessions your Dr has advised.
NO VERBAL ABUSE
Please note that verbal abuse will not be tolerated by any measure. This is by the form of email or verbal. We reserve the right to decline therapeutic intervention should we receive any verbal abuse by anyone in your party at any time. If you have already begun your therapeutic intervention with us and we feel you have compromised the relationship by your actions of verbal abuse, your therapy will be terminated immediately and any fees paid or due will be at a loss.
INDIVIDUAL RISK - CHILD & ADULT
Please note that we are not a crisis service. Upon your enquiry, it is extremely important to report any form of self harm or active suicidal plans / suicidal thoughts to our Clinic Director, either verbally or email. If this is not reported and these details are picked up within the initial assessment, It may be that our clinical psychologists feel that you fall outside of our remit and you would be signposted to a crisis service immediately.
END OF THE CONTRACT
Please note that we do charge a fee for letters requested for schools/ universities or other areas. However, please speak to your psychologist regarding your requirements and our Clinic Director will provide you with a cost. This fee must be paid in full prior to any letter being written and we must have it in writing that you are happy to pay this fee before your psychologist will write an agreeable letter for you.
TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS
We understand that from time to time you may wish to have a discussion with your psychologist regarding certain matters, however please note that there is limited available time due to busy clinic sessions. However your psychologist will do her very best to ensure they can offer a telephone consultation with you. To ensure you get the most out of your telephone consultation with your psychologist, there is a minimum fee of £70 per 30 minutes. Please note that this payment is payable in advance and there is a cancellation fee of 24 hours should you no longer need this telephone consultation.

What is meant by ‘The contract’?
When an assessment is requested, the client is asked to read and sign our terms and conditions. That document describes the work that we will undertake and, by signing the document, you enter into a contract with us to do the work. We will process all personal data that you share with us (for the purpose of completing an assessment) lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. It will be necessary for us to process your personal data in order to fulfil the contract with you.
What are my ‘legitimate interests’?
The reason that we need to process your personal data is to provide psychological services to you/your child. Assessments/consultations/Therapy involve the processing of special category data, including information, for example, about your child’s health, cognitive functioning, social and emotional issues and family history. We have a legitimate interest to collect such personal data for the purpose of forming a well-informed professional opinion. We will only collect information from you that is relevant for the process of providing the psychological services that you have requested.
